Sunday Feedback April 24, 2011

He is not here; He is risen!

Thanks to all the volunteers who served and served overtime today! Your heart of serving was part of sharing the Gospel in three gatherings. About six men and women received Christ today, which is what it's all about.

If you saw someone going the extra mile at church and it blessed you, let the rest of us know about it.

Events in Jesus' Life

Maybe you've been thinking about the last couple weeks of Jesus' life before Easter. Where was He? What did He do?

Here's a link that replaces the previous one here and is better! You'll enjoy this!

It's from the Christian Examiner. Good stuff.

Sunday Feedback April 17, 2011

Lots of things to consider from today's message about heaven and hell.

Thanks to the Lord for a beautiful day after last night's storms.

At least 5 indicated today they were trusting in Christ as their Savior.

The crosses and the empty tomb looked great!

What can you contribute to the conversation?

Ancient Foundations This Sunday: Everybody Goes Somewhere

The BIG question on every human heart is, "What happens to me after I die?"

Sunday we'll look in the Bible to see what God has to say about the options. There are only two.

Bring your Bible.

And be thinking about who you'll bring with you to church on Easter Sunday. Three Gatherings to choose from: 7, 9 or 11.

Spring Clean Saturday!

Here's a great opportunity to join with others and pitch in to spruce the NHC building and grounds in time for Easter. There's lots to do inside and out and our Housekeeping Team Leader Mike Corwin has it all organized.

So come out between 9AM and noon. You'll have a lot of fellowship and fun serving with dusters, mops, shovels and cleansers.

Tubbs Hot Dogs will be on hand to feed us lunch as well!

How passionate are we for the church?

Sunday Feedback: There Is Only One Way

Sin breaks us. Grace can make us whole.

Here's an email message just received: "I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed today's service. This is my third visit to Nags Head Church and I look forward to coming every Sunday. I feel very welcomed. I look forward to next Sunday!"

The Meyers are making Boars Head Hams available for your Easter Dinner. They're giving back a portion of the price to send to the orphanage in Nepal that Tammy Stump built.

What truth did God use today to move you in His direction?

This week's memory verse is, He saved us —not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit. - Titus 3:5 (HCSB)
