We started a new series today to help us have a firm knowledge on the Jesus of Scripture.
Nathan's song, "The Real Jesus" echoed the desire of our culture to know the truth about Him.

I could see 4 hands raised indicating they were receiving Christ as Savior today. Awesome day. Lots of new folks showing up, too.
ReplyDeleteMet the daughter of a long-ago pastor friend (he's been in heaven since '88) of mine who God used to be a great encourager to me in the time of my greatest need. She didn't know the connection until she told her mom who was the lead pastor at the church she's started attending.
Saw a couple of folks we haven't seen in a long while back at NHC. Good to see them.
Amen to all of the above! It was a joy to see some old friends return and to meet some new folks as I tried to sell Women's Ministry t-shirts (good Christmas presents)! The message and music made for a wonderful worship experience. Thanks to all who served to make it possible.
