Thanks to everyone who was open and willing to share their stories on video for us. Changed lives are the most exciting reason we exist, and why we are so grateful for how God used 40 Days of Love.

I loved the videos (felt so proud of my MnM girls who are now my family). It takes bravery to tell your story and I'm just so thankful for all who shared. I jotted down several points said by them.

ReplyDeleteTricia and I had the opportunity to share the story of Jesus with our foster child today. She attended church this morning and observed communion. We were able to explain it to her later. Pray that this seed will grow in her.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't say how many there were. Just that there were 3 gifts brought by the Magi (magi means wise men from the East) which has led people to assume there were 3. It could have been many. They didn't actually come at Christmas time either, but when Jesus was 1 1/2 years old. This teaches me to always go to the Bible for the truth.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Rebecca. Their names aren't listed, so we have no idea how many there were. But the commentary says that they traveled thousands of miles, following a star that led them to the Messiah and they worshiped Him. We should be so persistent!
