God revealed his mighty power on Mt. Sinai for all the Israelites to see as in a thunderous voice He gave them His Ten Commandments. How much do you really know about the God you claim? Do you have a healthy "fear" of Him that helps you stay within the lines?

Great Sunday! I pray we all took the opportunity to check out hearts and seek holiness.
ReplyDeleteSometimes we think of Christianity as a bunch of 'rules'. Yesterday was a great reminder that it's not about the rules, it's about the relationship. The rules are guidelines designed to keep us from harm and to keep us focused and heading in the right direction. It was great fodder for the family discussion that came later on when one of my children accused me of being 'mean' because I enforced long-standing family guidelines.
