The NHC staff is currently working on a new "winter weather policy" to help us more effectively notify you about cancellations of church events because of winter weather. In the meantime, the weatherman is calling for some more nasty weather this weekend, with some possible snow.
We probably won't get anything more than a bunch of wind and cold rain, but just in case we do get some snow and you have a question about church this Sunday, here's the plan:
IF the 9am worship gathering is canceled, you can know by Saturday at 5pm by checking back here on the blog.
IF the 11am worship gathering is canceled, you can know by Sunday at 8am by checking back here on the blog.
IF you regularly receive church email updates, you'll also receive an email by 5pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday IF something has been canceled.
IF you belong to the Nags Head Church Facebook Group, you'll also receive an Facebook message by 5pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday IF something has been canceled.
IF you are on a ministry team that serves on Sunday morning and have a question about the schedule due to a cancellation, your team leader can be in contact with you.

And IF you miss a Sunday because of weather (or whatever), don't forget to make up missed tithes when you get back! Even when there's no church we still have to make the house payment!
ReplyDeleteThat's why I write a month's worth of checks at a time and put them in their envelopes and in my Bible. If there is still one in there at the end of the month, I know God didn't get it yet. Yikes!
