Labor Day Weekend!
Today was a big day at NHC with two worship gatherings and a great picnic.
In "Finding the Heart of Worship" Moses and Israel were given God's design for how they would be His holy nation in their worship.
First and Ten. Tootsie Rolls reminding us that Trunk or Treat is coming soon. "You are God Alone".

Love Song: Where Are They Now?

Today was one of those days when several guests came to me after a gathering to tell me how much they are blessed by Nags Head Church. How wonderful it is to be part of a caring, welcoming congregation that strives to make the main thing the main thing.
ReplyDeleteservice was great, message was right on, and the picnic was over the top. Here's what impressed me most...the adults (especially the young adult men) interacting with the younger kids. Kickball, football, soccer, etc...whoever wanted to could play and the youth/kids were made welcome. Those relationships are going to be what helps take them through the hard times. In fact, the relationships I have are what take me through the hard times, too~
ReplyDeleteThree cheers for Barbara Kay. As she was bringing the coolers full of tea and lemonade to the park in her car, 5 gallons of sweet tea spilled in her car. Can you imagine? Then she went back to the church to make more tea, brought it to the picnic. But she had to try to clean her car right away so she missed the picnic!!!
