An evening of worship with new and old Christmas carols. The auditorium was packed. The Hospitality team served tons of cookies and hot drinks. The First Impressions team welcomed everyone with seasons greetings. The Tech Teams, Worship Choir and MP13 Band led us in worship.

What an outstanding night! The Band, choir and tech team used their talents for God and did it with excellence! I'm so proud of all of you.
ReplyDeleteI saw so many people I did not know. That's always a good thing. The Ocean View people were so thankful, too (even though I think the music was a bit overpowering for most of them).
The hospitality team gets a 5 star rating!
Thanks too, to the housekeeping team for coming in early this week to spruce everything up.
Next year lets do an encore performance. Like ToT this has the potential to grow exponentially.
And Chris Tomlin is so very good at what he does.
Most of all, the Father had to enjoy so much joy over His Son's birthday.
The best concert ever! The music was excellent and there is no way you could have left NHC last night and not feel the spirit of Christmas. My heart was just overflowing....
ReplyDeleteWhat a celebration of praise! It was an outstanding effort. Like many others who were there, I sang my heart out in worship of our Savior, and, even this morning, am rejoicing. I agree with Rick: this should be a yearly event, our gift to the Baby Jesus, and to our community. Thanks to all who worked so hard to make this happen.

The first song by the TSO was especially excellent and a real joy to listen to. Thanks for all the hard work that went into the evening; as musicians ourselves, we appreciate more than most the hours and hours of diligent rehearsal involved to put something like that together.
We loved the vibe of your church--casual, friendly, welcoming. The decorations were especially attractve; the three of us were commenting on how much we liked the brown paper wrapping on the "stage gifts" instead of gaudy, bright packaing. It was clean and classy; the whole stage was a visual treat.
