We arrived back on Helene Wednesday morning!

After two days of planning and meetings,"Team Helene" returned to their island home. Two days in Casa Calico, a local hotel on Roatan,"Team Helene" came together. We talked about every aspect of the island we could, and indoctrinated a new team member David Chase from Rhode Island. He will be our new maintenance guy. Go David! After four months of leaving and then returning, all our systems are still working. Ewings and Bye Bye did a great job looking after our clinic.

We had an island session yesterday, shared changes that are coming and the island responded gracefully and excited about our new plans. The legal issues the school faced four months ago are now gone, at no cost to us. We are working with the communities to develop a local school board. Each community will have a session and choose two people to represent them with the school. We will start training the new school board Thursday.

The sea is beautiful, all is green, hugs from islanders are great, smiles are fun, alot of "thank you for returning" have been received. We will start charging in the medical clinic April 6th, all were in favor of that...so we move on full steam ahead to what God challenges us with next.

Please, pray that our house [in Colington Harbor] will rent ASAP. This is a great need for us.

Our Helene School...
We are coming to a new school year here in Helene. Did you know you could sponsor a child for $30.00 a month, a dollar a day. During our recent Session with the island, parents stood up and shared with us how their children had changed and had learned so much in our school. They shared that their children were reading in their Bibles. Your dollars here make a substantial difference in a child's life. Give, and we will be faithful to share the gospel and challange each child to excel.
